Eighteen volumes of scrapbooks, including twelve volumes of scrapbooks and reminiscences of Edith Forbes Perkins, 1862-1924, and six volumes of scrapbooks of correspondence and reminiscences of her daughter Edith Forbes (Perkins) Cunninham, 1866-1938. The volumes contain correspondence, photographs, clippings, and other items. The scrapbooks of Edith Forbes Perkins begin in 1862, two years before her marriage to Charles Elliott Perkins, and are directed to her grandchildren. Included is information on her childhood in Milton, Mass. and her later life in Burlington, Iowa. Among the correspondents are Perkins and Forbes family members, including Robert Bennet Forbes. The scrapbooks of Edith Forbes (Perkins) Cunningham are addressed to her son Edward Cunningham, Jr. Included is information on her childhood in Burlington, Iowa, as well as her later life (after her marriage to Edward Cunningham) in Milton, Mass. and Santa Barbara, California. Among the correspondents are Perkins and Cunningham family members.
